The flyline is elongated and low. The double-cradle steel frame covers the powerful, sculpted engine that underlines the impressive presence of the bike. Riders also have a number of custom equipment options: the R 18 is scaled back to its core to allow for full customization.
Thanks to its modular design, the R nineT is perfect for expressing your individuality. With the Option 719 Classic billet pack made of pure aluminum, you can create stylistic accents on your bike. And with the intricately-produced Option 719 bi-color Sport cast wheels, you will leave a lasting impression.
The powerful air/oil-cooled twin-cylinder boxer engine now runs even more smoothly. Drawing 109 hp from its 1,170 cc displacement, it pulls through the speed range briskly thanks to its flattened power and torque curves between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm.

Ride Modes influences the gas intake and throttle response of your R nineT. “Dynamic” mode makes the engine response more direct and rides on dry asphalt even more dynamic. And the optional adaptive cornering light lets you look ahead into every bend. This is because it improves illumination of the inner part of the bend up to a lean angle of 25 degrees.
